What's free, and what's in Cog Pro?

Twelve everyday tools are free forever: JSON, Base64, URL & HTML encoding, JWT decode, hashing, UUID, epoch time, case convert, slugify, color convert, and URL parse. Cog Pro unlocks the power pack — regex tester, diff, HMAC, cron explainer, advanced ID generators (ULID/NanoID/UUID v7), and password & lorem generators. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Settings → Restore Purchases in the app, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought Pro with. Your Pro tools will unlock immediately.

Does Cog work offline?

Yes — completely. Cog makes no network calls at all. Everything runs on your device, including in Airplane Mode.

Is my data private?

Nothing you paste or type ever leaves your phone. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Does the JWT tool verify signatures?

No. JWT Decode only decodes and displays the header and claims so you can inspect a token — it does not verify the signature, and shouldn't be relied on for authentication decisions.

How do the widget and Share Extension work?

Add the Cog widget to your Home Screen to jump straight into your most-used tools. From any app, select text and choose Send to Cog in the share sheet to run a tool on it right away.

Which iOS versions are supported?

Cog requires iOS 18 or later.
